A few more words about IMBOLC. I think I Love this holiday so much, because it is a quiet one. No commercialism, at all. Hardly anyone I know celebrates this one. I see a lot of pagan references, for what this holiday is as facebook pages fly by. For me, this is a stirring, of the beginning of spring. The four cross quarter holidays, represent the beginning of the seasons, while the equinoxes and solstices represent the high peak of the six week season. There are 8 seasons, neatly worked into the year, and This is one reason I like to meet w clients once every six weeks. Energies have been digested, and shifted, by this time, as it takes 40 days to change a habit. In Natures intelligence, we have different biodiversity each season. Now, here, along the coast, narcissus has been in bloom now all month long, since New Year. The yellow mustards dot farmers fields, as a cover crop, along w early oxalis. Scotch and french broom is in bloom, and acacia. Both are considered invasive plants here, but I love making perfume from both, and they both have interesting vibrational energy signatures. Soft, resets, from the hibernation of winter, and now opening to spring. I am listening to the surf, ocean. LOVING it. LIFE is wonderful. If you havent celebrated this holiday, its a great 180 degree shift, included, since the venus direct is now. All day yesterday, you could FEEL it and it was this gentle awkwardness, of the directional change. For those not in the know, it could have been a tough day to navigate the energy. I am excited. I have enjoyed the winter, really I have. And I have embraced the inner corridors.
