A few reminders for the Week of January 12th - January 18th. A. WORLD’S FINEST CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER: Monday, January 12th is the last day to turn in the order forms for Worlds Finest Chocolate. Once again this is an opportunity to build your students’ account up. The money can be used toward outstanding band fees owed, Banquet tickets, or even transfer over into next year. Profit from the first 2 boxes sold go to the Booster Account, profit from any remaining boxes sold go to the students account. Profit from each box is $30.00. B. BAND BOOSTER MEETING: The Booster Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 7:00 pm in the band hall. Please make an effort to attend this first meeting of 2015. We are starting something new this year where we will have businesses “sponsor” our meetings with a representative from that business having a table to talk to interested boosters. They will also provide drinks and goodies to eat. This meeting will be sponsored by Edward Jones Investments. As they say, “At Edward Jones, we understand why youre investing. You have specific financial goals and the desire to provide for yourself and your loved ones. Because we serve individual investors and business owners, our resources are dedicated to helping you reach your long-term financial goals. Thats why we live and work in your community.” C. YOUR CHILD’S FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Your childs financial statement was sent out by Christie Tran this week. If you have a balance due, please pay it ASAP. The Band Boosters have been running on a limited budget because of the lack of payment by a number of parents/guardians of the students fees. We cannot continue to run our Booster organization with only a few of the parents/guardians paying and others not paying but yet all the band students are reaping the benefits of being in the band. I am sure many of you would agree with me and others that its not fair. As the Booster Band President, I implore you to please make every effort to pay your childs fees. If you have any questions on it please let Christie Tran know or contact me about it. D. WINTER GUARD PRACTICE: Winter Guard practice this week will be Wednesday, January 14th from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm and Friday, January 16th from 1:00pm - 5:30 pm. There is no practice on Monday this week. We are asking that each student has at least $140.00 of their Winter Guard fees paid no later than January 15th. We must send the remaining balance due to Team Go Figure to pay off the balance of the uniforms. If there are any questions on any of the above, please contact Christie Tran.
