A few snaps from my recent Amazon adventure. I cant go into any details now about the actual work, although I hope to soon (and there will be a video), but heres some general shots of a magnificent, wondrous and important region Ive come to consider my second home. We traveled by air, water and road and when all was done, I ended up in the city of Manaus (in the geographical heart of the Amazon Basin) in the company of dear old friends, new friends and colleagues. This was my 50th trip to the Amazon (Im pretty sure), the first being 16 years ago. My, how time flies, but what a wonderful way to celebrate such a personal milestone. PS, I was honoured to have been able to, once again, work with a stellar team, and meet so many great people who work tirelessly to preserve this global jewel and fight for the rights of those who live here.
