A few weeks ago a dead tree gave up the ghost and fell over onto our roof. It was a pretty decent sized tree and sounded like an explosion! After making sure we had no roof damage, we waited for payday. It did get kinda irritating as people would come up and say,"do you know you have a tree on your roof?" Then, one day, someone asking that question also asked if he could bring the youth group he is mentoring for his church to learn about helping others by removing said tree. They spent a couple hours after church climbing up and removing branches. Then, a few days ago, another man stopped by and offered to cut up and move all of that tree to the curb for pickup. Okay, so we had to pay him, but it was a MORE than reasonable amount, and we no longer have to listen to people asking if we know we have a tree on the roof! Without those two men stopping and offering their help, we were looking at hundreds of dollars. God always sends us that window!
