A few weeks ago my mother said something to me that may be the most profound statement anyone has ever said to me, let alone my mom. If you dont know her she is one of the most selfless and righteous person I know. Anyway, we were discussing prayers and she told me the summation of hers. We had never had this discussion prior to this moment. I proceeded to tell her that I pray for her, bro, family blah, blah, blah, and not for you guys to have to endure any burden and pray for it to come to me. This astounded her, so I explained that this is how it always was for me and might explain why things have always seemed to have been retrograde for me. My mom has lost nearly all of her eye site and has a tough time with it. She then told me that she couldnt see to read the bible anymore, but thar was just probably an excuse because she could just buy the audio tapes and listen to them. She ended by saying that was not necessary because she can just listen to me! I have no words to describe what that means to my soul.
