A few weeks back, our good friend Darren finally caught his White Whale. Darren is a very good fisherman and has been oh so close on many occasions. Finally, at the very end of the last wade of the day, he hooked up with a once in a lifetime fish here on Baffin Bay on a 4 Saltwater Assassin Sea Shad in Mighty White color rigged on a 1/32 oz. Flats Lok Jighead. I was wading back to the boat and was about to come pick everyone up when Capt Sally texted me that Darren was hooked up on something big. A couple of minutes later she sent another text with a lot of CAPS and exclamation points. It was true Baffin Big Girl. Everyone says how they would handle a fish that is bigger than any they have ever seen, but in reality, you just dont know what will happen until that time arrives. We were very fortunate to be able to capture this incredible moment on video. Yall watch and enjoy.
