A few years ago I ran into these two white guys dressed up as Serena and Venus those were the best Halloween costumes Ive ever seen, they had their skin darkened and everything, complete with mini skirts and rackets. I didnt see anything wrong with it..they had gone out of their way to really be creative. I know the history behind the black face and that African Americans were played by white people with painted faces & not allowed to be on screen many many decades ago, But I honestly dont see anything offensive with her dressing up as crazy eyes for halloween. To me it is like saying other races cant be inspired by black people & can not try to portray them in any way. Which I think is so limiting.
