A final up date.... Kayla, My umbrella when it rains, has been discharged, thanks to all of you who had her in your thoughts, and who prayed. She and the baby, are as healthy as can be and has no sign of anymore seizures. Although, in accordance to her discharge papers and the doctor, it is expected that there will be no signs before an episode. All of the test results came back negative, meaning they could not pin-point really anything that could have triggered the seizures. So that being said, she was diagnosed an epileptic. We were given a choice, to continue to take seizure medication for 8-9 months, following up with OBG and risk side effects on baby.... Or, continue without anything, and risk another seizure risking seizures on our little squid. So of course we chose the medication, being the risk of damage outweighs the other, tis only the safer choice. Thank you all for your time and effort, it means so much to our little family! :)
