A food show host on a diet! The brilliance of this films execution lies in the fact that till mid-way one would remain confused whether it is a documentary or fiction. A talk show host on a diet is a humorous situation but instead of being spoofish, this film becomes a genuinely funny, nuanced and a realistic portrayal of a mini-celebrity, a food show host, who is unhappy with his job (and associated gluttony) and is willing to start from scratch on any other job. The lead character is outstanding in his performance and even the mini appearances - like a look from the hairstylist when he asks her to send his video to her friends, the girl in burger joint who has to give quotes and the awkward director who needs people to focus on the shoot rather than a mass murder event being live updated on the internet or deal with the lead complaining about note wanting to give bite shots (cameo by the director herself). I do wish the last 3 minutes of the film lived upto the previous 10 minutes. Nonetheless, those first 10 minutes will stay with you for a long time.
