A friend asked me if I had a brother in another post. I responded to her and after I read it, I decided I liked it and that I should post it here. Perhaps I will expound on it as well. ONLY child here. I wouldve killed a sibling. You know that. Wouldnt have wanted anyone raining on my parade. Only children have it made. My mother asked me one time if I would like to have a baby brother or sister. I told her, in no uncertain terms, that I would flush that baby down the toilet. It was never mentioned again. That is a true story. The flushing part. My mother kidded me about it all my life. I was only about 3 or 4 when I told her that. I knew at that age that I liked my spot in my world over on the old Margaret Street with my mother and dad. I was their world and I took advantage of it, even at that age. It continued until their deaths a few years ago. Being an only child may leave some of us with strange personalities. Ive read a great deal about it just for fun. Most of the things I read are true. Self-centered, egomaniacal, selfish and moody. Im a textbook case. #me-me-me
