A friend brought us over some lovely game meat that he so kindly shared. Dave and I arent hunters ourselves. But, we appreciate and respect those who know how and take care to do so. Can I just tell you all out loud (on the net) right now that elk is tasty! This is me talking. I border on a veg heavy diet most days. Im willing to try most things, though. I love sustainable approaches and responsible hunting. Knowing the source, I was happy to give it a try. If you have the opportunity to try it sometime, I highly recommend it.
