A friend of mine Jim Bunch, posted this just now - so sad, yet so true. Do you agree? Show me ONE PERSON who can SURVIVE on earth without Oxygen!!! These Ecuadorian rainforests are called "the lungs of our planet" for a reason and they produce more oxygen than anywhere on the planet except our Oceans (which are also struggling to survive). President Rafael Correa said as he signed this approval to drill... "The World Failed Us"...and he is correct. I know a little bit about this, because I am on the Board for the US Green Chamber of Commerce, I am a surfer, a businessman and I have been to this part of the world.... and when it is destroyed....and it is going to be destroyed, for profit based on this document just signed, we are going to be in serious danger. In my opinion, we have taken a major step backwards as humanity today. We have once again chosen profits and oil over LIFE. I read this news as i walked my 7 year old son into his play camp and wondered if we have just made his future an unsustainable future.
