A friend of mine has been using reusable tampons since last year. When she first told me about it, my first reaction was, “Yuck!!” At that point, I knew about all the research she has done concerning food and household items (she makes her own deodorants, lotions, etc.). She told me that the bleach in pads and tampons could cause physical ailments and told me to do my research, but I was too lazy. Last night, I saw that article on my timeline and I could not ignore my second warning. So, today I went to the healthfood store and bought my first organic pads (BABY steps). Add this to my natural soap, shampoo, conditioner and deodorant and I’m on a roll! Were there more expensive? OF COURSE. IDK about you, but living longer is worth it to me. We are working on an internet channel that is dedicated to natural substitutes. From cleaning products to food. I figure having a channel made for young people, by young people may open minds. IDK, we’ll see. #hippie
