A friend of mine whos fighting for our rights wanted me to convey this message to you all :) Two years ago On 16th December, a 23 years old Indian girl was going back home with her boyfriend after a date. She was getting late so she thought that may be she should go in the school bus (Probably because the bus would drop her soon or may be because the bus go in the same route). Her friend was with her. She and her friend didn’t see any harm. It was her mistake. There were 6 men inside the bus. They tried to provoke her friend, they started hitting him and the girl tried to stop and help but she couldn’t. They hit her friend with an iron rod. Then they dragged the girl to the last seat. Covered all the windows and one by one all 6 men raped her brutally. And while all of these things were happening, the bus was moving in the crowdy roads of Delhi. It was only 7:30 pm. Her friend tried to help but couldn’t. After raping her, one man hit her head with the rod and then inserted it into her vagina. It went so deep that it damaged her intestine and other organs. Those demons wanted to kill them so they ripped their clothes and took their money, wallet, id cards, phone and everything and threw both of them out of the bus. They tried to run over them. Her friend was conscious enough so he pulled himself and the girl to the side of the road. They both were lying there for few minutes, he thought that may be people would stop by and help them but no one did. People would slow down and peek out of the car windows but then drive off. Then somehow the guy managed to sit up, a lot of crowd was gathered but they were just staring at them. He asked for help, no one did, he asked for a piece of cloth so that he could cover her. Later a taxi diver gave them his set cover. He covered her with that. Police showed up few minutes later. But instead of taking any action they kept arguing. It was a little too late for them. She was alive but She kept going into coma. The doctors kept trying. People all over in India started protesting. Peaceful Protests. We got man-handled. They used wooden sticks. Tear gas and even Water Canons. They couldn’t stop us. She kept fighting for her life. She was so critical that she was sent to Singapore. They couldnt save her, she passed away due to organ failures. It’s sad to see how people are two faced. They didn’t help them and drove off and next day they started protesting. But better late then never. Hope that this changes everything. Her guy friend in his live interview did mention that he had never imagined anyone to be so evil and cruel to do such things, to take out organs of living person just like that.. So may be the rumor that the 6 men took out her uterus in rage when she slapped them was true. I don’t know. You wouldn’t believe but one of the rapist is underage. We are asking for Justice. We are asking the govt. to hang them. But they are not listening. Even the rapists are now asking for death. These politicians are busy playing their filthy political games. She stayed strong for way too long. She wanted to live. We don’t know her real name. It wasn’t disclosed. We started calling her Damini/Amanat/Nirbhaya. RIP DAMINI. I HOPE THE COUNTRY CHANGES. WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO GET YOU JUSTICE.. SO THAT EVERY RAPED GIRL GETS JUSTICE. SO THAT NO ONE DARES TO RAPE OR MOLEST ANY GIRL EVER AGAIN. and its totaly upto you want do you want .. wait for your turn or fights for your rights with us? lets come together and fight for our rights on this 16dec.
