A front slides south and stalls overnight. Expect some spotty evening showers as the front passes through the state. Friday, the front stalls over southern West Virginia. This will keep a few showers over our southern mountain counties, especially Randolph, Pocahontas and Webster Counties. Otherwise, a partly sunny sky and highs in the lower 70s. Overall, not too bad for high school football, cool after sunset. Low pressure moving northeast along this stalled front brings clouds and scattered showers on Saturday. Highs hold in the upper 60s to lower 70s. This quickly moves east by late afternoon. Sunday and Monday look good, partly sunny with highs in the lower 70s. A weak front drops in Tuesday with a SMALL shower chance. Dry again for Wednesday and Thursday. Highs hold in the lower 70s, overnight lows in the 50s. Have a great Friday!
