A funny thing happened on the way (through Allentown, PA) to Boston. A few days ago, I was on my way through Allentown, PA, heading toward Boston for the National Guild of Hypnotists annual convention and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I had a purse full of gift cards and saw the roadside sign for TGI Fridays, which was one of the cards that I had with me. That seemed like a good choice for a leisurely meal and some computer time. I ordered a salad and a drink and spent a little time on the computer checking emails, etc, until my food arrived. I took notice of the booth opposite mine, which was occupied by three guys and a girl, all probably in their twenties. I did not dwell on them but noticed they were having a good time.They left as I was eating. When I was finished eating and ready for my bill, I spoke to the waitress and she informed me that the young lady at the other booth had paid for my meal. Apparently there was no explanation as to why. I have no idea why either. I suspect that it was a random act of kindness, or perhaps even Karma. I went away thinking that what goes around comes around. Good deeds are always repaid. You never know the time or place. Thanks my friend, who ever you are!
