A girl in a group that Im in posted this. Id like to hear feedback from my friends that have a little darker skin color than I do. It irritates me when people classify blacks as African American. To be African American you have to be born in Africa and come to America. If you were born in America you are just Black. What makes it so bad is when other blacks that I know are American born say they are African American..um, noooo... Call me black, call me Native American but call me an African American and Ill give you a politically correct lashing. If they only list African American on any paperwork I always pick other and write in Black/non Hispanic.
