A good read about the sense of competitiveness that is perceived in the parenting landscape - search and you can find the caring, fun, realistic sister-hood who are honest about doing the best they can and knowing that some days are just awful and exhausting. They are the mums or moms who let you cry and laugh with you and make you a cuppa and get you cake!!! They also love your kids and value being in that little village of people who really matter. I am still surrounded by my village from those early chaotic days of mothering Di, Linda, Jude and my sister Sue - I still love them to bits and look forward to a special trip to the Melbourne Garden Show this year to reminisce about those days that disappeared so fast!
