Dec. 21, 1946) who co-founded the Beach Boys and became their leader when his older brother Brian Wilson stopped touring. Dennis Wilson of the group.is also his brother and Mike Love is his cousin. How important was Carl after Brian dropped out? Beach Boys contracts listed the group as Carl Wilson and four other musicians. Carl.also played ;lead guitar and was sometimes the lead singer..But thats enough history. This happy little Christmas song is a novelty tune based on the Beach Boys earlier hit Little Deuce Coupe. And its fun. This cut is from their 50 year old Christmas album. But I want to warn you that when the song is over, there is a looooong period of silence before the video ends. Hmmm. Perhaps thats a meditation period for us to ponder the power and portent of the deep religious/sociological/cultural/philosophical message weve just heard (smile).
