A great Pakhtun Leader/hero of sub-continent & freedom fighter we lost on this day 27 years ago... Despite differences with his political options, he has been greatly misunderstood/misinterpreted by many even in todays Pakistan (Untold story :p ).....Personally never supported his party nor his own political position pre-partition but he was a great statesman with his simplicity & charisma who motivated & spread political awareness in KPK (in particular) based on autonomy & self respect by using the platform of Khudai Khidmatgar and myself is a great admirer just because of his-own selfless personality (Dont equate Bacha Khan with current ANP tola)... Though fought effortlessly for united India but once Pakistan came into being where lost his political case, he remained True loyal to Pakistan least I shud say despite the fact he had spent 27 years of his life in jail (14 years in British India while 13 years in Pakistani jail)... RIP Baba ji. :)
