A great day for Assam! UPSC service allocations are out. After 2 years, we are getting an IAS Officer from Assam, Bikram Kairi, a gem of a person and an inspiration for us all. We are having an IPS, Kamnashish Sen. For the first time in history, perhaps, Assam is having 2 Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officers in the same year - Pankaj Phukan and Vishal J Das. Dear brothers Ibu Sanjeeb Garg and Jitu Doley are getting IRS(IT) and Manash Kachari is getting IRS (Customs). I have seen how Ibu has toiled during his preparations and have spent considerable amount of time with Bikram. I am sure all of them will work with dedication and commitment towards making Assam, North East and India better places to live in. All the best brothers!
