A great story about our Hotel, we have achieved Green Tourism Gold level! Portsmouth Marriott have done extremely well to not only retain the GOLD award with the Green Tourism programme but to increase the over all score of the assessment since 2012. Although the criteria have not changed in the last two years, the Green Tourism scoring has become more rigorous owing to advancements in technology, increasing awareness and the continuous improvement ethos of the scheme. Therefore, the retention of this grading level should be commended. There are lots of excellent practices conducted on this site. New indicatives such as free bike hire for guests and electronic meeting room equipment are excellent demonstrations of the hotels desire to be as sustainable as possible.
