A great time was had by all yesterday at Around The Corner in Johnstaon PA, as Linda L Cains Music Rocks Autism took the town by storm. So many great bands, one after another, including Native Grave, Low Class Trash, Kamikaze Kupakes and of course Harrisburgs own Embers Of Igneous bringing the light, the heat and the energy like they always do. Lets see how well I remember the set list: Dog Eat Dog/Young/Killing In The Name Of/I Am/Ember Nation/Rock And Roll. I may have missed one and Im not certain they played Ember Nation...the Yuengling was flowing pretty well all afternoon and night (along with a few shots of something called Crystal Meth that Linda and I both found tasty)....Now listen here yall. So you couldnt hike 2+ hours to Johnstown and back, I completely understand, but you have no such excuse to miss the next big Music Rocks Autism event, July the 12th at Tubbys in Duncannon, only 30 minutes from Harrisburg, and here is why there are no excuses: Big Jack https://facebook/bigjacksbrian Small Town Titans https://facebook/smalltowntitans Voodoo https://facebook/VoodooTribute Native Grave https://facebook/groups/nativegrave Low Class Trash https://facebook/lowclass.trashband Baby Jayne https://facebook/BabyJayneBand Forever the 9th https://facebook/foreverthe9th Neverthought https://facebook/NeverThought410 MILEUNDER https://facebook/pages/MILEUNDER/98979984550 WasteDownRebels https://facebook/WasteDownRebels Wow, what a lineup. Several headliners up in there. Oh wait, I almost forgot one band on this amazing bill: The Embers of Igneous, making their Harrisburg return after spending the month of June hitting the road to Baltimore, Ocean City and of course Johnstown, with stops yet to come in Reading, Gettysburg and other points on the map to be determined. Be sure to like their page to keep up with the comings and goings, but above all else BE THERE on July 12 up at Tubbys, the guys from Embers will be there all day mixing and mingling and handing out sampler CDs, but you can catch all that music online right now! https://youtube/channel/UCryigxw_jNjJiSOppQqpGhw This is going to be a killer mid-summer show with tons of amazing music, all brought to you by the volunteers themselves and Linda Cains tireless energy putting these shows together. You will be reminded of this date many times between now and then, and we expect to see your smiling faces there. Only $10 to get in, your contribution to a very worthy cause, Autism & Aspergers Awareness, something that almost certainly affects either you or someone you know. So you will be supporting a cause as well as rocking your tukus off, over at Tubbys on July 12. And we will see you there whenever you stop by because we will be there from beginning to end. Oh the anticipation ;)
