A handful of selfless, righteously-inspired college kids got together and made the world tolerable for countless peoples in Uganda. I have been a fan/participant/student of these guys work for a major part of my 20s. Their example challenged all of us to look beyond ourselves, beyond our borders!, to see the bond we shared as human beings. THEY MADE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE. Created micro economic systems to help support/feed/medically treat entire villages! - all with just a few scant dollars of American support. They walked us through the letter writing, they gave us the tools to connect our passions with others, and Congress took notice. The IVC helped show me how lucky I really have it while quickly reminding me of the responsibility we have to help those less fortunate. Some day theyll get their full due so very much deserved. The downsizing of Invisible Children stateside operations is a sad day for me. But watching this video is a sharp reminder that thousands of 20-somethings shook the world and made a difference - the power of passion & hope is truly infinite. Even though youll deflect and say something about how the IVC is everyone, that the mission has no ownership, you did this, you made this, YOU THREE CHANGED LIVES.
