A headline like this one is tailor-made for for stirring up fake outrage. Some right-wing blowhard, like Rush Limbaugh, will milk it for all its worth. And the morons who listen to him will immediately begin foaming at the mouth thinking about all of those prison inmates that are getting free medical care. I can see the chain emails now about this now. But, the fact of the matter is that inmates have always gotten free medical care, while incarcerated, and that has held true regardless of who happens to be in the White House. What other choice is there? I suppose we could allow them to suffer and die from easily treatable things, but I doubt any serious person would propose such a barbaric thing. We cant have it both ways. If we insist upon locking up millions of our citizens every year, we have to assume the financial burden of caring for them.
