A huge mazel tov to The Shlenker School second grade teacher Stacy Shapiro and Early Childhood aide Staci Jefferson for winning Teacher of the Year for the Elementary School and Early Childhood program, respectively. Teacher of the Year is a peer nominated process. Fellow teachers are required to look for the characteristics of the portrait of a Shlenker Teacher and then write a short essay about the reason they believe their nominee should receive the award. The top three nominations are calculated and then the teachers vote on a winner. We are so proud of you, Stacy and Staci!
