A huge pet peeve of mine is when people dont understand when to claim racism. Racism is about putting one skin color and specific genetic markers that group you with others that match, above all others. If you are.... Gay, straight, bi, fat, skinny, blind, deaf, left handed, stupid, blond, brunette, ginger, ect.... And someone says something mean on the Internet. Please dont say they are being racist. Yes, hate speech, etc, ect....but unless they attack the person based off the color of their skin, its not racism. Unless theres a bubble on the standardized tests saying whatever they are being harassed about, ITS NOT RACISM. Now a bigot on the other hand, is the correct word for someone full of hate based off an idea or belief. That is all. :)
