A human right has to be applicable to humanity, regardless of of environment or circumstance, otherwise it is not a right but rather a preference. If a person were born, raised, and resided entirely within the confines of a restaurant, he could make a great deal of fuss and a seemingly strong case, that he has a right to pickles, or cheese, or napkins. No one would question the craziness of that scenario one bit, yet this is the reality of modern times. An accident of birth within the modern worlds abundance, instead of the scarcity of ancient times does not validate a claim for a right to healthcare, income, or housing. Its only when we see the potential abundance unleashed through free enterprise that we begin to get impatient with humanitys constant state of nature. You will find no one prior to the industrial revolution campaigning against poverty. What you will find, throughout every culture, and every era, dating back to the beginning of recorded history, are the brave few, who were campaigning for the only *real* human right. To be free. -Layke
