A judge, judicial head of of the Logar province of Afghanistan rapes a 17-year-old girl, who was in custody for running away from her house. The judge is Mohammad Qurishi,used his position to enter the room of the girl in womens hostel and using his pistol, forcefully rapes the girl. Although there were witnesses in the case, but the local court announced him innocent, while in the high court he was convinced to 20 years of prison, it is not clear what will be the decision of the supreme court. Rape of young girls is very common in Afghanistan and mostly people in position of power are engaged in the crime and immunity is enjoyed by many rapists.
