A little bit of insight for those who dont already know... Servers (i.e waiters and waitresses) only make $2.13/hr and spend a great deal of time and effort to ensure that you have a nice time when dining out. Therefore, if you dont tip your server or leave less than 10%, please consider this. If you cant afford to tip 10%+,either dont eat out or order something less expensive. It is so disheartening when, as a server, you spend 1-3 hrs serving a table (sometimes its your only table) & do not get tipped when you know youve done a good /great job. I hope this is informative to some individuals, if nothing else, and sorry for my ranting. Its been a long, difficult day.
