A little lesson about Vodu or Voodoo as its more commonly known due to outsiders of the religion(missionaries and so called British scholars of that time) whom changed the spelling to suit their vernacular. My familys ethnic tribe are the Ewe people. I remember deciding to do a report about Vodu in high school, primarily to get people to understand what it really is and not what Hollywood/Western societies portrays it to be. As with anything there is yin and yang, good @ evil, but what it boils down to is that it is sacred and a valid practice to those who it belongs to. Well I found out the hard way that it was not understood then, and still misunderstood now.
