A little more to the story, this is a repost of a comment I made in reply to a reader who made the comment "Poor Little mouse" ou have yet to learn anything of this mouse, only that the mouse lived and died. Yet for the mouse you show empathy? How do you know it was not the mouse who prayed for the world to end, and somewhere some sleeping god aloft in his matress of unmadness and weaving, was woken up from his slumber not for the sincerity of the prayer but that for centuries these prayers had been building and building and it was THIS prayer, only for its number that woke the shapeless shifting thing in the midnight that children can see that make them cry HORROR MOTHER HORROR OH FATHER PLEASE CHECK MY CLOSET and when the light is thrown it creeps back in perfect time to the places shadows can only see and even shadows, for what horrors they have seen in the dark would ALSO NOT see what horros lay even beyond them which wait in the places beyond shadow and light...oh HOW little sister, can you cast such early judgement upon the mouse who prayed to that thing, that awoke for being too bothered with prayers and accidently perhaps answered it and aligned all hte particles of the universe so that certain things would happen in a certain place at a certain time and the world which we love begins being bomberded with extinction level even aseroids and humanity rises and humanity falls after yet another asteroid slams into us and humanity AGAIN rises and falls, dwindling each time and the earh suffering more and more until the mouses prayer is finally answered and then, something begins to rise from the poisoned ocean, it sends waves for hundreds of miles and is disappointed that there are no mortal eyes to look upon its beautiful horror...for he who cannot be named had played a joke upon his priest whom is called Cthul in the ancient tongue, Cthul had risen finally to plunge the world in darkness...only to find that planet was now hurdling toward the sun, this planet trapped in the tow of an asteroid that the mortal mind cannot begin to fathom its size and scope...was pulling our damnable burning sun right into it.
