A little over three years ago, I did my first short film. After playing over fifty festivals, it was released for free online just over a year ago, and the response has been overwhelming. Im not an overwhelmingly political person and tend to keep my views to myself, but I do feel very strongly about how essential it is for everybody to feel accepted and safe, and thats ultimately why I feel so lucky to have been involved in Shabbat Dinner. In the last year, weve hit 140,000 views, heard all kinds of stories from people who were affected by the message of the film, and been insulted in some very amusing ways. Today, I was informed that the film is being adapted into a one-act. Over three years later, the film is still impacting lives and spreading its message. If you havent seen it yet, here it is; Im so incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of it, and I hope it continues to help people in some small way.
