A long time ago, when I was a teen, we lived in this tiny neighborhood in Kiriat Tivon. Middle class families around the same age lived in the same street, shared the same schools, played outdoors together and some shared the same workplace... The father of one of these families, Amit Goffer, used to work with my father in the same workplace, and I used to babysit his children. His life turned upside down in a second when in a casual trip that involved some outdoor fun his ATV was turned over and he got a spinal injury, paralyzing him from his neck down for the rest of his life. I was in my 20s then, life was all about me and my stupid struggles, so it was just a sad story to hear. Then 20 years fast forward, and I hear that Amit is leading this amazing innovation to help not only himself, but plenty others in the same condition. I wish we could all be like that - look at the bright things in life, look at the full half of the glass, try to turn a misfortune to an opportunity. Peace.
