A lot has been going on around the Deli at Pecan Square this week. I would like to ask all of you to keep Nora and her family in your prayers. Her Mother has been sick for sometime and it seemed like after a couple days in the hospital she would get better and go home again. This last time she just couldnt fight it HOWEVER, on Saturday she was better and Noras brother called from the hospital and she got to talk to her Mother. Bless her heart, Nora was on a cloud Saturday night, tickled to death that her Mother was better. This didnt last and Sunday night she got a call from her brother telling her their Mother had passed away. I cant imagine what Nora is going through being so far away and not being able to be with her one more time or even attend the service on Monday. Its been four years since Nora was home and she is really brokenhearted right now. She needs the love and support of all her American friends & family. Please keep her covered in your prayers that God will bless her and help her with her grief. When she gets back in the Deli please remember to give her a big hug and let her know she is loved. Steve is struggling with the heat and all the stress at work trying to keep everything going. Zane is being a trooper, he was by Noras side yesterday, pacing the floors trying to make sure Mommy was okay. Nor is young and really doesnt understand it all because of his age. Its confusing for children at times but Zane can remember his Grandmother and he understands how much Mommy is hurting right now. Thanks for listening and sorry if I rambled but I am very concerned about Nora, my heart breaks for her and I know there is nothing I can do to make it better..........other than pray for her and her family and ask each of you to do the same.
