A lot of people are a bit confused as to why many of us in this community are upset by last nights WrestleMania, specifically a match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. A few of us are even having a spot of fun at us because hurr were upset over fake things. Look, we know it was scripted, we know that wrestling is as fake as any other theater or television show, but since this is a comic book community, Ill break it down to you in simpler relatable terms. Remember when Superman died? Or when Batman got his back broken? We knew that some day, our heroes would lose, but instead of using Lex Luthor or Joker or any of their iconic villains to defeat them in a true fitting final clash, the writers created new characters to handle the job. Bane was ok, kinda cool, but I think most of us can agree that Doomsday was the worst. Lesnar is Doomsday here, killing Supertaker when there were far worthier foes that should have had the honor like Triple Lex (this metaphor is getting away from me). Some of us just hope that just as Supermans death served to relandscape comics, Undertakers defeat will usher in a new era.
