A lot of people are posting that Robin Williams is a coward, that he took the easy way out and that he was selfish to take his own life . I could not disagree more . It was his choice and his right to do what he did and go out on his own terms . Who knows how long this man has been suffering and wanted out but held it together for his family hoping he could over come whatever demons consumed him. Im pretty sure he has struggled with these thoughts of suicide plenty and persevered through it long before he finally decided to finally take his own life. Ive read that this was a permanent solution to a temporary problem . Says the person that didnt have to live in this guys mind and deal with what he was dealing with which was obviously a permanent problem. Im not advocating suicide but life is about quality over quantity and if the quality of his life was no longer to his liking and he felt he didnt want to go on then thats his own dam choice. It doesnt make him any less of a man. People want to write about him being a coward yet this is a man who had the balls to chase and follow his dreams and become a great success at what he did rather then compromise and settle for less in life playing it safe as most do. There is nothing wrong with playing it safe but to chase a dream and become what he becomes took more fortitude and perseverance then the average person can ever fathom. Talent alone doesnt get it done , the world is full of talented people but this guy took the intangibles needed that go along with talent to become a wild success. He went out the way he went out which is awful for his family and loved ones but he died as he lived doing things his way and he is the furthest thing from a coward. R.I.P.
