A lot of people assume that because Im young, my Faith is also young, but that couldnt be further from the Truth. I am grateful that God and I have history, my Faith has deep roots... I started operating in legitimate ministry as a small child (as young as 4)... I was spirit filled at age 10 and as a 27 year old, I have a seasoning that rivals that of some of my grandmothers contemporaries who have occupied pews far longer than I have, but stopped growing looong ago. I honor certain traditions because I honor and respect people and I understand the role that cultural competency plays in effective ministry, but Im not legalistic... I have a code that addresses everything from the clothes I wear, the music I listen to, the friendships I allow and the goals I pursue, but Im not blindly rigid Im wholeheartedly convicted. The assumptions people make come across in our discourse. I thank God that promotion doesnt come from people, but from The Lord... Few know my story, but because of my surrender millions will know my God...
