A lot of people have commented and opined on the Ray Rice domestic abuse video disclosure and his subsequent release. The outrage is justified, but the real outrage needs to be refocused to the multi-billion dollar corporation and its billionaire mens club that at first apparently saw this video evidence, thought it would stay hidden, and now, when it gets outed, lies about what it knew when it issued a suspension that was 8 times less severe than a guy who smoked marijuana. Outrage and yelling and pontificating only goes so far. I propose the following, a course of action that I dare say a minuscule amount of people will actually follow, but one that will send a real message. When you get angry at a business and their practices, like Chick-fil-A or Hobby Lobby, how do you hurt them? Stop shopping there, right? So, how do you send a message to the NFL about coddling criminals? Dont watch. I propose that if you really care about this issue, take Week 2 of the NFL season off. Dont watch, dont go to bars that have games, and send an email or a picture to the NFL showing yourself enjoying the world without the NFL. Hit em in the wallet. See what happens. #nomoreabuseNFL
