A lot of times, I dont charge for the little jobs that I do for people. The way I see it, Im paid enough. Spending twenty minutes to write a few lines for someone else doesnt hurt. Every now and then, a person will come along asking me to help out somewhere, and Ill ask whats your budget for this? Sometimes theres money, and sometimes theres not. And thats fine by me. If theres very little money to be made, and not much time to be invested, I do it for free. Someone I did a favour for recently presented me with a bottle of Glen Parker. Im told its a single malt. Since I dont know my single malts from my blended, unfortunately its a complete waste on me. If youre a whiskey drinker, swing by for one on the rocks. I believe there are 34 odd pegs to a bottle.
