A lot of you might not know this....but today is potentially a MASSIVE day for the future of the entire wrestling business! The next generation of WWE performers now has a place to call home: The WWE Performance Center opens today. Announced two months ago by WWE COO Triple H and Florida Governor Rick Scott, the 26,000-square-foot facility gives both WWE and NXT Superstars and Divas a state-of-the-art home base to hone their craft and treat their bodies. Offering a comprehensive program that includes in-ring training, physical preparedness and character development for approximately 75 talent, the center houses seven wrestling rings, a world-class gym and high-tech production and edit suites in accordance with WWE’s partnership with Full Sail University, whose students edit and produce weekly, internationally broadcast installments of WWE NXT at the university’s Full Sail Live facility. The center also offers a best-in-class sports medicine program as well as a fully functional kitchen. Outside the ring, the center also increases WWE’s presence in the Sunshine State, creating more than 100 high-wage jobs.
