A lot was said about the picturesque scenery of the coastal Two Oceans Marathon - and nothing was mentioned about the warmth and hospitality of the people and residents along this route. From the crack of dawn the people of Cape Town camped and lined the roads, full blown picnics from complete breakfasts to lunch. They sang with full bands, ululated, motivating the athletes all the way - they really stole my heart. They fabulous cheerers big part in me finishing this tough races and qualifying for the medal.
