A lovely market day, sold almost nothing lol but had the best time. Did a bracelet workshop with the kids where they got to choose their own stones and beads and make their own bracelets, lol well maybe workshop was too big a name as all I did was open the boxes with beads and crystals and away they went! :-D All I had to do was cut them some elastic and tie some knots. The kids were really creative and totally knew what they wanted! Also met the lovely Michel Groenewegen and Job Neelen of Stichting Zwerfdieren Dahab and the glorious Eel Garden Sunrise Apartments. Such nice gentlemen and so committed and concerned with the lot of the street animals in Dahab. Inshallah they will come to meet my Fluff Babies soon too! :-D What is really awesome is that for every booking at their lovely apartments, a neat sum goes straight to the charity - and they have helped many many animals already, not least by their amazing support during the latest TNR Project of Animal Welfare Dahab. Really awesome, well done Michel, Job, and all the other board members of this wonderful Dutch charity foundation. I know people are hesitant to book holidays to Egypt now, but Dahab is really safe and beautiful, and needs the work! And if you love animals, then the added bonus of booking these apartments is that you know a sum of money will go to a registered foundation and they spend it in a very practical way as will do the most good.
