A major Church in the United States, The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church(USA), has voted to divest from three us Corporation linked to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. The Church voted this week in Detroit to sell its shares of Caterpillar, Motorola Solutions & Hewlett Packard worth about $21 million. The Church says that the companies supply equipment & materials which, among other things, are used to demolish Palestinian homes & construct illegal settlements. This is a step in the right direction & it is hoped that Muslim countries & organisations will follow such steps. One sad thing during the Ramadan fast is that millions of Muslims uses Israeli dates to break fast thus making bumber sales for these Israeli companies during Ramadan. This is just like using the blood of oppressed Palestinians to brake Fast during Ramadan. How many of us uses the computer made by Hewlett Packard(HP)? This company is Zionist-owned & provides high-tech services for the Zionist regime.
