A man has been charged with the murder of Marc Jepson. Carl Hodgkiss, born 13/4/86, of Elton Avenue, Farnworth, has been charged with murder. Irene Hodgkiss, born 1/3/51, of Firwood Avenue, Farnworth, has also been charged with assisting an offender. Both are due before Bolton Magistrates Court on 12 March 2014 A 41-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder has been police bailed until 3 June 2014 pending further enquiries. Officers were called at 4.30pm on Wednesday, 5 March 2014, to a house on Kildare Street following a report that a mans body had been found. Officers attended and discovered the body of a 40-year-old man, now formally identified as Marc Jepson. A post mortem examination concluded Marc died as a result of asphyxiation.
