A man in New York was tired of being approached by women on OKCupid who seemed to not be genuinely interested in him, but just looking for a general male companion. So, he created a fake profile and uses an automated robot system to reply to the messages he receives from women. Most times, the robot spits out irrelevant or nonsense replies, but occasionally the women continue to pursue him. He claims he is trying to prove that some women online are only looking to not be alone, not necessarily looking for meaningful relationships. Do you think he being fair in doing this research? -Bo
