A man stopped today with a bucket with 3 baby (infant) kittens in it. Said their mother had been killed on the road and he did not want them. Mentioned he would have given them to the grand kids but they were too wild. These babies probably do not weigh a pound each and to think someone would even consider passing them out like toys to kids upsets me to no end. They are not even old enough to eat on their own. I took the kittens asked him if he could make a donation towards their care, bottles, goats milk ,spaying an neutering. He stood in front of his really nice new 4 wheel drive pickup truck (that I know was not a cheap vehicle) and shrugged. I gave him my business card and said I would let the Lord put it on his heart to do the right thing and then told him I know that God would be watching. I will probably never hear from him again like so many others who dump these babies on me without ever looking back. The kittens are safe the hard work of trying to save them begins now, and I will let God deal with this individual. It is His hands now.
