A man who spent his good moments preaching that I had value, making me laugh and genuinely caring about my well-being had death knocking at his door because he had a hard time believing those things for his own life. Isaac Perez , now who is going to clean my house in the middle of the night when they cant sleep? Who will make Momma Perezs special eggs and cheese while forcing me to spill my heart on how I got to where I am? Who will give the most intense hugs that make you forget all of the sadness, even if just for a little while? I will remember you for your laughter, and the way your whole face lit up when your heart was swelling with happiness. But most importantly, I will remember you running after Jesus with your whole being. It was contagious and is forever embedded in my mind. The Renauds loved you way way way more than you could have ever understood.. Our lives are changed, and we have truly learned to love better, because of you.
