A man’s life is full of collisions between time, job, bills, church, wife and children….but after returning home from the noise of the world the best thing a man could see and hear is his son and daughter running down the driveway screaming with joy “DADDY, DADDY”. My son David asked me one time, if he could call me by my name. I said in reply that he should continue to call me DAD. Why? Because it’s the highest office this side of heaven that a man could achieve. Nothing can compare with this privilege that God allows man to have. A father does not stop being a father even after the children leave the house. Nothing is more repugnant to me to hear someone say “We’re done with raising our kids!” With that statement a person forfeits their right to any credit of the success of their children may achieve nor any joy thereof. If I were an owner of a business I would not hire someone to be a manager, unless they were a responsible father . To me, the title of Dad is sufficient.
