A "meaning" of LOVE The common mistake about love is that a lot of people think it is something we have, and can give. This is impossible for the simple reason that love is a personal and intimate feeling, a very complex feeling, something that we neither understand nor control. When someone has a feeling that they understand and can define, it is not LOVE, but just a logic and reasonable inclination. So said, how can one give something that one can hardly explain to oneself? The worst enemy of love is expectation. A REAL LOVER does not have expectations! Expectations are a matter of calculation, or gambling. Love is noble and blind. Love can be bastardized in the contact of our survival instinct and our intrinsic desire to "possess" and control what we cherish, thus leading to jealousy.
